Moving in Salisbury
Salisbury's homes are mostly houses. At the 2021 Census close to nine in ten homes were separate houses, and about three in ten were rented. Many of the residential streets grew from early estates, with blocks of around 800 square metres in the old Salisbury Township Estate. The suburb's main roads are Kessels Road, Beaudesert Road, Orange Grove Road and Evans Road.
Suburban blocks and busy main roads
Larger trucks usually suit Salisbury's house blocks well, and we'll park on the quieter side streets wherever possible. Our trucks carry a walkboard (ramp), a hydraulic platform lift, or both. Because Salisbury mixes homes and industry, we factor weekday commercial traffic into timing. If you're moving into a unit or townhouse, a smaller truck may suit better. If you live near Toohey Mountain, some streets are steeper, so mention any sloping driveway or front stairs. On the flatter estate streets, we can usually park out the front and load straight from the door. For houses with a big shed or workshop, list the tools and equipment so we allow enough time.
Your nearest depot
We service Salisbury from our Mt Gravatt depot, about 14 minutes away, so you get a local crew rather than a truck crossing the city. Not sure which depot is closest to you? Try our depot finder.
We also move homes in nearby Moorooka, Coopers Plains and Acacia Ridge.
