Post-war homes on big blocks
Many Stafford homes are post-war houses on large blocks, plus newer townhouses where old blocks have been split. Family homes usually suit one of our larger trucks, and townhouses a smaller one.
Stafford Road and Sparkes Hill
Stafford Road and Webster Road carry steady traffic, and the streets around Sparkes Hill are steep. We'll plan safe loading on sloping driveways. For most homes here, we send one of our larger trucks, fitted with a walkboard, a hydraulic platform lift or both, so bigger households can move in one trip. See our trucks and equipment.
Sparkes Hill and Kedron Brook
Sparkes Hill rises to 96 metres in the south-west, topped by a water reservoir, and Kedron Brook runs along the suburb. A heritage-listed site sits at 314 Stafford Road. With so many post-war homes on big blocks, many Stafford moves also involve garden sheds, outdoor furniture and garages packed over decades. List these when you request a quote so we allow enough space and time.
