Tell us about the item first
Every piano and pool table is different, so we plan each one before we book it. When you request a quote, tell us:
- What it is: upright piano, grand or baby grand, digital piano, or pool/snooker table (and whether it has a slate bed).
- Size and weight: dimensions, and the weight if you know it.
- Access at both addresses: steps, stairs, narrow doorways, tight corners, lifts, sloping driveways and where the truck can park.
- Photos: of the item and the path out of the house help the team understand what's involved.
From those details we'll confirm the crew, the equipment and any additional costs in a clear written quote, so there are no surprises on the day.
Pianos
Uprights, grands and digital pianos all need careful handling on stairs, steps and in tight spaces. Our trucks carry furniture pads, blankets, tie-downs and heavy-duty trolleys, and the crew protects the piano and your floors and doorways on the way out and in. Pianos generally need tuning after a move, so book your tuner for a few weeks after you've settled in.
Pool tables
Pool and snooker tables, especially slate-bed tables, are heavy and usually need some dismantling. Tell us the size, whether it's slate, and if it has been dismantled before. We'll confirm what our team will do and what may need a specialist (for example re-felting or re-levelling) before you book.
Queenslanders, stairs and units
Brisbane homes bring their own challenges: high-set Queenslanders with long front stairs, steep blocks, and apartments with small lifts. Tell us about them up front so we can plan a safe carry and bring the right number of people. See our trucks and equipment.
Moving it with the rest of your home
Most pianos and pool tables move as part of a full home move. Our five depots at Eagle Farm, Stafford, Bulimba, Mt Gravatt and Indooroopilly mean a crew is never far away. Need to hold it for a while? Ask about storage.
Insurance and cover
Our transit insurance has a $1,000 customer excess and policy exclusions. Tell us about valuable items such as pianos before booking and read the transit insurance terms.

How booking works
Every move starts with a clear written quote. You'll receive a booking confirmation email when you book, and a reminder 48 hours before your move. Tap Confirm My Move in that email, or let us know about any changes.
FAQs
Do you move pianos?
Yes. Tell us the type of piano, its size and the access at both addresses when you request a quote, and we'll plan the team and equipment and confirm any additional costs in a clear written quote.
Do you move pool tables?
Yes. Tell us the size of the table, whether it has a slate bed and the access at both addresses. We'll confirm what our team will do and whether anything needs a specialist before you book.
Can you move a piano up or down stairs?
Tell us how many steps or stairs there are and send photos. Stairs, tight corners and narrow doorways change the crew and equipment needed, so we plan for them before moving day.
Will my piano need tuning after the move?
Pianos generally need tuning after a move. Most owners book their tuner a few weeks after the piano has settled into its new home.
Can you move just a piano without the rest of my furniture?
Yes. Tell us it's a single-item move and we'll quote it on its own. See also our small moves page.
