Ballymore and Victoria Park
Herston includes Ballymore Stadium, the home of Queensland Rugby Union, and borders Victoria Park, with its parkland and bikeways. Heritage-listed sites include the old Brisbane General Hospital precinct, the former nurses' homes and the University of Queensland's Mayne Medical School. The Herston Quarter is a newer development on the old Royal Children's Hospital site, and it's adding more apartments to the area.
