Moving in Westlake
Westlake is about as owner-occupied as Brisbane gets. At the 2021 Census about 97 per cent of homes were separate houses and only around one in nine were rented. Riverside streets and the lakes
In the early 1990s Westlake grew to take in the Westlake Waters development, built around its own natural-style lakes, and parts of the suburb back onto riverfront bushland. Planning a long-held family home move
A larger truck usually suits a Westlake house, as the streets are suburban and there's generally room to park out the front.
