Near the foreshore you'll find plenty of unit blocks, many with lifts and visitor parking only, while streets further inland have family homes. For units, a smaller truck often suits better. Queensland's first settlement
Redcliffe was the site of the first European settlement in Queensland, in September 1824. The convict settlement moved to the Brisbane River the next year. Redcliffe later became a popular seaside town, with steamers bringing day trippers across the bay, and the Hornibrook Highway bridge opened in 1935.
