Riverside apartments and townhouses
Most homes here are apartments and townhouses built in the past 20 years, plus a handful of older workers' cottages. Building managers usually want lift bookings, padding and a set loading window, so send through those rules when you request a quote.
Tight inner-city access
The streets off Breakfast Creek Road and Skyring Terrace can be narrow, with lots of permit and timed parking. We aim to get close to the loading bay without blocking traffic. For most moves here, we recommend one of our smaller trucks. They're easier to park in tight streets and loading zones, and they still carry a walkboard or hydraulic platform lift. See our trucks and equipment.
Gasworks and Newstead Park
The heritage-listed No. 2 gasholder frame on Skyring Terrace is now the centrepiece of the Gasworks precinct and Gasometer Park, surrounded by apartments, shops and offices. Newstead Park and Newstead House sit at the mouth of Breakfast Creek. Gasometer Park hosts markets and events, so the streets around it can get crowded at those times. Older heritage buildings along Breakfast Creek Road add a mix of converted homes and offices. We check access for each one before moving day.
