Cottages, units and new apartments
You'll find small timber workers' cottages, brick homes and a growing number of apartments around Albion station. Cottages often have narrow hallways and tight front stairs, so tell us about access when you request a quote.
Busy roads and narrow side streets
Sandgate Road, Albion Road and Lutwyche Road meet near the station, and traffic can be heavy. The side streets are often narrow, with cars on both sides. A smaller truck is usually best for units and cottages here, and we'll plan a safe spot to park. For most moves here, we recommend one of our smaller trucks. They're easier to park in tight streets and loading zones, and they still carry a walkboard or hydraulic platform lift. See our trucks and equipment.
Breakfast Creek and the station precinct
Breakfast Creek is a neighbourhood in Albion's west. Albion station sits right next to the former Albion Flour Mill site on Hudson Road. The mill building has gone, and the site has been earmarked for a large apartment and retail development. Heritage-listed homes on Birkbeck, Gore and Grove Streets show the suburb's older side. Between the busy station precinct and the quiet cottage streets, no two Albion moves are quite the same.
