Industrial traffic and the Gateway

Mooraree and Queensport
The district was first known as Mooraree, after a house built by Christopher Porter in 1861. The name is thought to come from a Yuggera word meaning sticky or muddy, and it changed to Murarrie in 1907. Queensport, in the north of the suburb, has one of Brisbane's oldest hotel sites. Murarrie State School is on Garrett Street. Business parks sit beside homes, so expect freight traffic on weekdays.

Our Eagle Farm depot is about 7 minutes' drive from Murarrie, using Wynnum Road, Lytton Road, Creek Road and the Gateway Motorway. We also move people in nearby Cannon Hill, Hemmant, Tingalpa. Use the depot finder to see which depot is closest to both ends of your move.
