Apartment towers and riverside units
Most Kangaroo Point homes are apartments, from older walk-up blocks to tall riverside towers with concierge desks and booked lifts. We usually send one of our smaller trucks, which fits the tighter driveways and loading areas.
Tight peninsula streets
Main Street and the Story Bridge approaches are busy, and many streets are narrow and lined with parked cars. Loading zones are limited, so we'll plan exactly where to stop and how long we'll need. For most moves here, we recommend one of our smaller trucks. They're easier to park in tight streets and loading zones, and they still carry a walkboard or hydraulic platform lift. The cliffs and the river
The Kangaroo Point Cliffs face the CBD across the river. The peninsula is made of hard rhyolite rock, and the cliffs are a popular spot for climbing, picnics and city views. The Story Bridge lands at the northern tip, and the Maritime Museum sits nearby. Many towers have riverfront entries but service access from the streets behind, so we'll confirm the right entry before the truck arrives.
Close to our Bulimba depot
Our Bulimba depot is about 8 minutes' drive from Kangaroo Point, using Main Street, the Story Bridge, Shafston Avenue and Vulture Street. We also move people in nearby East Brisbane, Woolloongabba, New Farm. Use the depot finder to see which depot is closest to both ends of your move.
Moving tips for Kangaroo Point

- Avoid Story Bridge peak hour. Early or late-morning starts are smoother.
