Moving in Calamvale
Calamvale has one of the highest townhouse shares of the suburbs we serve. At the 2021 Census just over a third of homes were townhouses, semis or row houses, and the rest were almost all separate houses. There's no train station in the suburb, so most residents drive. Townhouse complexes bring narrow internal roads, small visitor bays and moving-time rules, while the houses are usually on standard suburban blocks. The Golden Pond wetlands, built in the late 1990s on Calamvale Creek, give the lower part of the suburb a green, open feel. If you're near the creek, tell us about any sloping yards or footpaths.
