Bald Hills has family homes on larger blocks, some acreage and newer estates. These moves usually need one of our larger trucks and time for outdoor items.
Bush blocks and long driveways
Some properties have long driveways or gates, and estate streets may be narrow. Tell us about access when you request a quote. For most homes here, we send one of our larger trucks, fitted with a walkboard, a hydraulic platform lift or both, so bigger households can move in one trip. See our trucks and equipment.
Two small hills and the Pine River
Bald Hills is named after two small hills on the South Pine River valley floor, and the first land sales here were in 1857. Heritage-listed sites include the Bald Hills Presbyterian Church and the hoop pines on Strathpine Road. Bald Hills State School and St Paul's Anglican School are local. Bald Hills station serves the suburb, and both Gympie Road and the Gateway Motorway cross it, so it's easy to reach from our Stafford depot.

Our Stafford depot is about 16 minutes' drive from Bald Hills, using Gympie Road, Strathpine Road, Telegraph Road and the Gateway Motorway. We also move people in nearby Bracken Ridge, Carseldine, Strathpine. Use the depot finder to see which depot is closest to both ends of your move.
