Steep, narrow and winding streets
Streets falling away from Dornoch Terrace are some of the steepest in the inner south, and many are narrow. We often send a smaller truck that fits the street and use extra crew for the long carries. Walkboards and hydraulic lifts make sloped loading safer. For most moves here, we recommend one of our smaller trucks. Highgate Hill shares its river peninsula with West End and South Brisbane, and it looks out over the river towards St Lucia and the university. Dornoch Terrace runs along the ridge, with many old Queenslanders and unit blocks either side. Some homes have parking only on the street and a long set of steps down to the front door. We'll plan extra crew for those carries.
