Moving in Chelmer
Chelmer is low-density and residential, with many fine Queenslanders featuring timber verandahs, wide stairways and iron roofs, and more recent brick homes among them. At the 2021 Census about 95 per cent of homes were separate houses and only about one in six were rented. River-bend access and big homes
Walter Taylor Bridge is the only road bridge between Chelmer and Indooroopilly, so we plan our route in and out based on the truck we're using.
